Moroni Elementary Community Council Meeting

February 1, 2022

In attendance: JD Kuchenmeister, Becky Barton, Stacey Peterson, Chelsea Bailey

The council reviewed the minutes from their last meeting. Becky motioned to accept and Stacey seconded the motion.



The council discussed the upcoming year trust land plan. TSSP will fund positive behavior rewards, the NetSmartz assembly, Mystery Science, and the preschool playground.

The school counselor, Chelsea Bailey, presented to the council regarding mental health and anxiety. They discussed counselors, social workers, programs, crisis hotlines, and education. Mrs. Bailey will continue sending out a monthly newsletter to parents about these topics.

Upcoming PTA activities include Literacy Night and Paint Night. The PTA is looking for new members who want to help.

There weren't any community concerns reported.

Stacey motioned to close the meeting, Becky seconded. Meeting ended at 3:09 PM.
