Rules of Order and Procedures
1. Group norms have been established, which are:
2. Members have been assigned (by majority vote)
The council consists of the principal and one additional school employee, as well as at least 4 parent members.
3. The chair distributes the agenda and brings the meeting to order.
4. The Chair ensures that the group keeps to the agenda. If items are brought up that are not on the agenda, they are tabled and scheduled for the next meeting or addressed during community concerns.
5. Voting is performed by a raise of hands and majority rules.
6. The chair adjourns the meeting and announces the date for the next meeting.
7. If a member would like to discuss something that is not SCC related, s/he will speak to the principal or other members after the meeting is adjourned.
