March will be an exciting month at Moroni Elementary School!
This month we will continue to work through our ABC’s to Success focusing on the letters “T” - Teamwork and
“U”- Understanding Others Perspectives. Additionally, we will have our last Bully Prevention Lesson of the year.
We will be reading the following books:
Teamwork: Teamwork isn’t my thing and I don’t like to share.
Understanding Others Perspectives: Big Deals and Little Deals/ The Day The Crayons Quit
We will also be having our College and Career week the 12-15th of March. Our school counselor classroom lesson will focus on College and Career. On Friday, 15th March we will be having our Career Exploration Day where students will be able to listen to various community members talk about their professions and what it takes to be successful in them. We did this last year and it was a big hit. Our students are excited to participate in it again!
The Class with the highest attendance in February was Miss Johnson's 4th Grade Black class with 95%. This is their third time winning the award for highest attendance. WAY TO GO!!!!
We also had 11 students with 100% attendance for the second trimester. They received certificates of recognition this week!
