Moroni Elementary School Plan | 2024-2025
Goal #1
By comparing Acadience composite scores in both Math and Reading, Moroni Elementary aims to increase the percentage of students in grades K-6 that are reading on grade level and performing math computation on grade level from the middle of the 2023-24 school year to the middle of the 2024-25 school year.
Academic Area- English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science
Measurements: Student success will be measured by utilizing K-6 Acadience composite scores from Middle of the year 23-24 to the Middle of the year 24-25. We will increase the percentage of students that are reading at benchmark or above benchmark by at least 4.5%. Our current Middle of Year data shows that 62% of students are reading at grade level for Middle of the year 23-24. Moroni Elementary will achieve a 5% increase in the percentage of students in grades K-6 reaching proficiency, as determined by Acadience Math Composite scores, from the middle of the 2023-24 school year to the middle of the 2024-25 school year. Teachers will utilize Generation Genius lessons and will demonstrate use of two lessons per month as monitored by the principal.
